Field Services
Retail Imaging employs Photo Lab Field Service Technicians and Account Managers nationwide. Field Technicians spend a significant amount of time traveling between photo labs within their service territory, which may necessitate overnight stays. Successful candidates for Field Service positions must be highly self-motivated, effective at time management and issue prioritization, and must be experienced photo lab technicians.
• Repair and Maintain on-site photo-processing equipment
• Handle emergency requests and repairs
• Provide customer phone support as necessary
• Manage issue data with our issue tracking software
• Advanced knowledge of mini labs (digital and wet labs) and photo lab printers - experience with Fuji, Kodak, Noritsu equipment a plus
• Advanced knowledge of computers and operations with XP/NT2000
• Advanced knowledge of networking multple computer terminals
Call Center Support
Retail Imaging's photo-dedicated Call Center is divided into three levels (tiers) of expertise, with each tier serving as the first line of contact for either consumers or retail photo lab associates. Successful candidates for Call Center positions must be enthusiastic, customer service oriented, and technologically proficient.
Tier 1: Consumer SupportTier 1 is dedicated to providing both customer service and technical support for photo-gifting websites. Tier 1 agents interact directly with consumers by phone and email, providing assistance with everything from checking the status of photo orders to website navigation and trouble-shooting.
Tier 2: Technical SupportTier 2 provides first line technical support to retail photo centers. Tier 2 agents interact directly with photo lab associates, providing assistance with everything from network connectivity to software trouble-shooting and minor equipment repairs.
Tier 3: Advanced SupportTier 3 agents are highly skilled subject matter experts who provide advanced technical support to retail photo centers, Field Technicians, and Tier 2 agents.
• Respond to phone calls and emails in a call center environment
• Adhere to process, scheduling, and metrics expectations
• Provide superior customer service
• Computer proficiency and technical support skills - Minimum 1 year previous tech support experience; familiarity with Java and Active X trouble-shooting a plus
• Strong customer service orientation - Minimum 1 year previous customer service experience required; call center environment a plus
• Critical thinking/problem-solving skills - ability to analyze a situation and come up with multiple possible resolutions
• Familiarity with digital photography - knowledge/experience in uploading images, usin gphoto websites, editing/printing photos, or photo finishing
• Tier 2/Tier 3 requires experience with digital and wet lab photo processing, Kodak and Fuji digital lab software experience a plus

Seasonal recruiting for Tier 1 will begin in September 2010. Seasonal positions generally run from the end of October to the beginning of January.
Parts/Dispatch
Retail Imaging's Parts/Dispatch department is located at our headquarters in Portland, OR. Parts/Dispatch Associates work in an office environment where they order and track parts needed for Photo Lab equipment, dispatch Field Technicians to stores, and update issue tickets. Successful candidates for Parts/Dispatch positions must be skilled at multitasking, be a team player, and have a strong attention for detail.
• Receive parts orders and dispatch requests directly and via call center
• Source parts for best price and availability, place and track orders with multiple vendors
• Dispatch Field Technicians, coordinate parts arrival with Field Technician, update issue tickets
• Create/Run multiple reports
Electronics Repair & Refurbishment
Retail Imaging's Repair Depot is located at our headquarters in Portland, OR. Electronics Technicians repair photo kiosks, printers, film scanners, and program kiosks with custom software. Quality Control Technicians perform quality checks on all repaired equipment. Successful candidates for Electronics Repair positions must have a high degree of mechanical/technical skill and be familiar with photo lab equipment and computer components.
General Operations
General Operations positions include Accounting/Office Administration, Human Resources, IT, Research & Development, and Management.
